The dog must be at least 4 months old and have passed the intermediate training. Certificate valid for 18 months.

This course is for those preparing to enrol as members. 

This course is tailored to the user. We do this by providing various pathways in which members can follow in order to become an IAADP approved Assistance Dog. All members are expected to complete a weekly log of the training they have completed until graduation. 

To enroll onto this course, you must have a disability which is eligible for protection under the Equality Act 2010. We ask you to provide proof of this.

We will work with any legal breed of dog from the age of 8 weeks that has achieved at least one of the following:

  • Basic Canine Skills
  • Bronze Kennel Club or equivalent
  • Advanced Foundation Canine Skills and Preparatory Basic Assistance Dog
  • Equivalent qualification
You must pay the enrolment fee before you will be accepted onto this course.
